Albania Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
This visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of visiting Albania for sightseeing, relaxation and recreation. The Albanian tourist visa are of two types; the TYPE C and TYPE D Type C:- This is a short stay visa that is issued to Kenyans that wish to enter the Republic of Albania and are entitled to stay for a maximum period of 90 days out of a 180-day period, from their date of first entry. This visa type is Issued with one, two or multiple entries. Type D - Long-stay visa is issued to Kenyans who wish to stay in Albania for more than 90 days within a 180-day period and also issued to Kenyans that might want to obtain a Residence Permit after entering the Republic of Albania. This visa type is issued with one, two or multiple entry. Applicants who have been invited by their friends and relatives in the country can also apply for this Tourist Visa. If you have been invited by someone in Afghanistan, a letter of invitation from him should be provided. The letter should contain his home address, telephone number, and a valid means of identification. If you are employed, you are required to present a letter from your employer. The letter should indicate your status in the company and the length of your leave. Minors are required to provide an original copy of their birth certificate and if they are not traveling with their parents or with one of your parents, a letter of consent signed by both parents should be provided. Proof or document of round-trip ticket booking should be submitted by applicant. Hotel booking or documents with information regarding the accommodation for the duration of their stay. bank statement of the applicant showing that he has sufficient funds. Proof of employment of employment status in host country. Proof that the applicant has made payment for the visa application is required. Holders of this visa are not allowed to work in the country. Kenyans applying for this visa can attend events and festivals in the country. The following are excluded to personally present themselves at the Albanian Embassy or Consulate: Holders of diplomatic passports, Humanitarian cases, High-Level Officials (personalities), their accompanying spouses and accompanying delegations on official visits, Foreigners organized in tourist groups; - Foreigners which have previously applied for a visa within a 59 months (4 years and 11 months) period. Applicants who intend to travel through a tourist group should provide photocopies of the licence of Albanian Tourism Agency, which invites foreign tourist groups.
Albania Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Business Visa enables Kenyans to engage in business activities while they are in Albania. Business visas are majorly type D and they are multiple entry visas. Applicants of these visa may sign and negotiate business contracts during their time in the country. Foreigners on this visa are free to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits in Albania. Travelers on this visa are entitled to stay for a maximum period of 90 days out of a 180-day period, from their date of first entry. The best time to apply for your Albania visa is 1-2 months before your travel date. The Albania visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa request cannot be processed without your original passport. Applicants are to submit a letter from your employer in Kenya stating the nature of the business to be conducted, as well as the name of the company you will be conducting business with Afghanistan. An official letter of invitation from your partner company in Albania should be sent to the embassy and this should be written on the company’s letterhead. This letter should state the location of the company, purpose, and duration of the applicant’s visit. If the visit is sponsored by the host company, it should be stated in the invitation letter. The company in Afghanistan should also submit its certificate of business registration to the embassy or consulate. If you have been engaged in business activities with the company previously, proof of this should be provided. Foreigners in Albania on this visa are not allowed to work while they are in the country. Receipt of payment of visa application fee should be provided by the applicant. Applicants of these visa are advised to be vaccinated against yellow fever before applying.
Albania Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements
Transit visa allows foreigners to make short stays in the country.
Applicants of these visa aim to take a connecting flight from Albania to their destination country.
This visa allows the joining of seamen to a crew ship in a port in Albania to their destination country.
For seamen, the name of the ship you are joining and the port you are joining the ship too should be indicated on the letter from the maritime agency in the country.
The visa and flight ticket to the destination country should be provided.
You cannot use the visa for tourism purposes.
Holders of this visa are expected to leave the country before the expiry of their visa.
Receipt of paid visa application fees should be provided.
