General Requirements for Armenia Visa
Armenia Visitor Visa Eligibility & Requirements
This visa is issued to Kenyans with the intention of visiting Armenia for the purpose of tourism and leisure. Kenyans who are issued this visa may also visit friends and relatives in Armenia. Kenyans who intend to travel to Armenia through invitation by friends or relatives cannot get a tourist visa at the border entry point. Kenyans are eligible for the Armenian E-visa. The Armenian tourist visa can either be single, double or multiple entry and has a year validity. Kenyans traveling to the Republic of Armenia for business, personal interests, medical treatment, and other short-term stays are also eligible for this visa. Applicants of this visa who have been invited by a friend or relative living in the country are required to present a letter of invitation from their host during the visa application process. Kenyans visiting the Republic of Armenia are free to attend festivals and events of their choice. Applicants are expected to present a letter from their employer stating their job status, contract of employment, and the duration and purpose of the trip. The contact address of the employer should also be stated. Minors should submit the original copy of a birth certificate showing the names of both parents. A letter of consent signed by the parents is also required. A document which shows that the applicant has the incentive of returning to the country at the expiry of the visa should be submitted. Applicants with business purposes in Armenia can negotiate and sign business contracts with their partners. For applicants travelling for business, a letter of invitation from your partner company in Armenia is required. The letter should state the duration and purpose of the applicant’s visit to the country. A receipt of the visa application fee is to be provided by the applicants. Kenyans who are in Armenia on this visa are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment. Applicants are expected to abide by all the rules of this visa. Kenyans cannot seek public funds in Armenia.
Armenia Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Applicant's letter of acceptance from the Armenian school is to be sent to the embassy. The letter should be written on the institution's letterhead and signed by the head of the institution.
Armenia Official Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The single entry visa or multiple entries visa with validity of 1 year is issued to members of official delegations, their families as well as other officials.
- A single entry visa for 120 days is issued if you are travelling to Armenia for non-official purposes.

- Transit visas are usually single-entry visa or multiple-entry visa and are issued with a validity of 1 year with stays for no more than 3 days.
- Kenyans transiting through Armenia by land can obtain transit visas without tickets or visas of a third country.
