  • This visa is for those intending to travel to Bahrain for sightseeing, relaxation, and recreation purposes.
  • Bahrain tourist visa for Kenyans is an e-visa. This means that the visa can be obtained electronically without being physically present at the embassy/consulate.
  • Kenyan applicants do not necessarily need a visa stamp on their passport prior to their arrival to Bahrain.
  • This visa will not be issued if your entry violates the security and national welfare of Bahrain.

  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Kenya is required. This letter should contain the name and job position of the applicant. It should be written on the company’s letterhead and addressed to the Embassy of Bahrain.
  • Minors should ensure that they provide the original copy of their birth certificate which carries the name of both parents. A notarized consent signed by both parents should also be provided.
  • Applicants should submit proof of financial sufficiency that can cover their stay in the country.
  • Receipt of paid visa application fee is to be submitted by applicant.
  • Applicants must provide proof of travel ticket or travel itinerary.
  • A proof of hotel reservations or accommodation for their  duration of stay in the country is to be provided by the applicant.
  • Applicants are to provide proof of incentive to return back to their home country once the visa expires.
  • Kenyans with this visa  are prohibited from taking up work or engaging in business activities while they are in the country.
  • Applicants should ensure  that they adhere to the rules of the tourist visa.

  • Applicants who are self employed are to attach their company's certificate of registration as well as proof of tax payment for the last six months.
  • Applicants are to provide proof of visa application fee payment.
  • Foreigners are expected to return to their home country after their visa expires.
  • A proof of medical fitness is to be provided by applicant. It should show that the applicant is free from any communicable disease.
  • Kenyans are prohibited from taking up paid or unpaid employment during their time in the country.
