Basic Travel Requirements for Kenyans visiting Bangladesh

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Bangladeshi Visa.


  • Passport with a validity of six months from the intended date of travel. The passport should have at least two blank space and must not be torn or altered in any way.

  • A correctly completed visa application form which is signed by the applicant.

  • Three passport-size photographs (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken on a white background.

  • Travel document should be completely provided.

  • Bank statement from the previous three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof that you are able to take care of yourself during your time in the country.

  • Travel insurance which has sufficient coverage and is valid for the length of your stay in Egypt.

  • Proof of hotel reservation/accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.

  • A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.

  • Copy of return flight ticket.

  • Copy of travel itinerary.

Avoid taking photographs of military and government buildings.

A copy of the biodata page of your passport should be with you at all time. This will be used as a means of identification whenever random checks are carried out by the authorities.
