Basic Travel Requirements for Kenyans visiting Chile

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Chilean Visa.


    • A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.

    • Duly completed and signed visa application form.

    • If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.

    • Three passport-size photographs (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken in white background.

    • Travel document must be complete.

    • Proof of financial capability.

    • Proof of accommodation/hotel reservations.

    • Copy of return flight ticket.

    • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country.

    • A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.

    • Medical insurance that covers the entire duration of stay.

Citizens of Grenada, Greece, Indonesia, and Peru can stay up to 30 days while nationals from the Dominican Republic have this privilege for up to 21 days.

Foreigners are prohibited from importing fresh, perishable, or wooden goods such as meat products, fruits, and vegetables.
