Guyana Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Kenyans who have the intention of visiting Guyana for leisure and tourism are eligible for this visa.
  • Foreigners who have been invited to the country by their friends or relatives who have taken up permanent residence in the country are also eligible for this visa.
  • Applicants of this visa who are traveling to Guyana based on the invitation from their friend or relative are required to present a letter of invitation from their host.   • The Business Visa is issued to foreigners who aim to visit their partner companies in Guyana to foster and improve business relationships.
  • During business meetings between Kenyans and their partners in Guyana, negotiations, and signing of business contracts can be done.
  • Foreigners who are in Guyana for business can attend business summits, conferences, and trade fairs.
  • If you will be attending a conference in Guyana, you are advised to register before leaving Kenya. Proof of registration should be presented during the visa application process.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer is required. The letter should state confirmation of business leave. The duration and the purpose of the applicant’s visit should be clearly stated in the letter.

  • This visa is for foreigners who are making short stops in Guyana.
  • Applicant’s of this visa have the intention of transiting through Guyana to their destination country.
  • Traveling from Kenya to Guyana and from Guyana back to Kenya cannot be regarded as transit.
  • The visa and other entry permits of the destination country should be provided.
  • Flight ticket of the destination country is also required.
  • Applicants of this visa who are under the age of 18 years should ensure they submit the original copy of their birth certificate.
