Israel Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Tourist Visa is issued to someone who wishes to stay in Israel for a short period of time.
  • Applicants of this visa may intend visiting the country for tourism, business meetings or study in a Hebrew uplan.
  • Holders of this visa can visit friends and relatives living in Israel with this visa.
  • Applicants who have been invited for visitation by their host are required to present a letter of invitation from their host in Israel. Home address, telephone number, and a valid means of identification of the host should be included in the letter.
  • This visa does not allow applicants to take up full-time study. You can only study in Hebrew uplan.
  • Tourists who want an extension to this visa may submit an application at one of the regional administration offices of the Ministry of the Interior.
  • If you are employed, a letter from your employer stating the length of your leave should be provided. The letter should also state continuing employment after the period of your leave.
  • Applicants who are visiting Israel for business purposes should present a letter from the company they are visiting in Israel. Information in the letter should include the duration of your trip and the purpose of your visit.
  • Certificate of business registration of the company is required.
  • Minors will not be granted this visa without the written consent of both parents signed by an attorney. Original copy of minor’s birth certificate should also be presented.
  • A document showing that the applicant has the incentive of returning to Kenya should be submitted.
  • Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.
  • A person who enters Israel on a Tourist Visa is not allowed to work.
  • Applicants are expected to abide by all the rules guiding this visa.

Israel A/4 (Visa For Spouse And Children) Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is granted to the spouses and children of the recipient of the visitor visa.
  • This visa is meant for sightseeing, relaxation and recreation purposes.
  • Proof that you are family ties is required.
  • Marriage certificate with your spouse and birth certificate of your child/children is sufficient proof.
  • The application of this visa should be completely filled out and signed, it should be attached to the application form of the person they are accompanying.
  • Documents or photos to be submitted during the visa application process should neither be stapled nor glued.
  • Receipt of paid visa application fee should be presented during the visa application.
  • Applicants of this visa are not allowed to work while they are in the country.

Israel Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to Kenyans who intend to stay in Israel for a limited period of time for work purposes.
  • Eligible applicants of this visa are experts, artist, among others. This visa has to be approved by the Ministry of the Interior before it is issued to applicants.
  • An invitation letter from your employer confirming that you have been offered employment in Israel is required. Your job description and the company’s address should be stated in the letter.
  • A certificate of good conduct should be presented by the applicant. Applicants who have had previous convictions may not be issued this visa.
  • Certification of medical examinations performed in hospitals recognized by the mission (the certification must cover inter alia, normal result in tests for tuberculosis, hepatitis, and AIDS) and the results of blood tests.
  • A declaration of taking of a fingerprint and a photograph.
  • If you want an extension to this visa, you may apply to one of the population administration offices of the Ministry of the Interior.
  • Applicants of this visa who do not have the adequate qualification will not be granted this visa.
  • After your visa has expired, you are required to leave the country.
  • Non-Kenyans are required to present a copy of the residence permit in Kenya.

Israel Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Kenyans who want to study in Israel in elementary and high schools, academic institutions, yeshivot and youth institutions of the Jewish Agency.
  • The Student Visa is valid for at least one year and for multiple entrances and exits. The visa can be extended to cover the duration of the study.
  • International students in Israel are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, a written consent signed by both your parents and an attorney is required before you will be granted this visa.
  • A certificate of acceptance for study at one of the educational institutions in Israel should be provided. The date of the beginning and end of the educational programme should be stated in the letter.
  • International students are required to present proof of payment of the tuition fee if on partial or no scholarship.
  • If you are not a citizen of Kenya, a copy of your stay permit in Kenya is required.
  • Proof that the visa application fee has been made.
  • Foreigners who have been previously convicted may not be issued this visa.

Israel Official Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The United Nations Employee Visa is an exceptional case and has a different requirement for other visa types.
  • This visa is issued to the United Nations and all its sub-groups (UNICEF, UNFPA, UNOPS, UNMAS, UN-WOMEN, UN-HABITAT, UNODC, UNIDO, UNDSS, UNDPP).
  • Those who have a diplomatic and official passport do not need to pay visa fee and do not need to introduce their bank statement.
  • All UN workers and their family members need a visa to visit Israel if going on an official mission to Israel regardless of their nationality.
  • Applicants should note that this visa is not valid for entering Gaza.
  • Applicants are required to have an official letter from the United States headquarters regarding the person’s mission.
  • The documents to be submitted should not be stapled or glued.
  • In case the United Nations Employee is visiting Israel for a private reason, the applicant should apply for the appropriate visa.
  • Non-Kenyans are required to submit a copy of their Kenyan stay permit.
