  • The Business Visa is for foreigners traveling to Liberia to engage in business activities with their partners in the country.
  • Kenyans can negotiate and sign business contracts during business meetings with their partner companies in Liberia.
  • You are allowed to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits in the country.
  • If you will be attending conferences in the country, proof of registration for the conferences is required.
  • A letter from your employer in Kenya printed on the company’s letterhead is required. The letter should be addressed to the Embassy of Liberia and should state the duration and purpose of your visit.
  • A letter from the inviting company in Liberia written on the company’s letterhead and addressed to the Embassy of Liberia. The letter should indicate the nature of the business to be conducted and the name and address of the company to be contacted in Guinea.
  • If your expenses will be covered by the inviting company or your employer, it should be stated in the business letter.
  • If you have been in business previously with the company you are meeting up with, proof of this is required.
  • Proof of payment of visa application fee should be provided.
  • A document which shows that the applicant has the incentive of returning to Kenya should be provided.
  • A copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination for yellow fever is required.

Liberia Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Foreigners who intend to board a connecting flight from Liberia to their destination country are eligible for this visa.
  • Kenyans can also join up with a crew ship at a seaport in Liberia.
  • The Transit Visa does not allow foreigners to take up paid or unpaid employment while they are in the country.
  • Applicants of this visa cannot take up short courses in Liberia.
