General Requirements for Mali Visa
Mali Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- You must have an original Kenyan passport with at least six-month validity remaining.
- Two passport photos with white background, taken within the last six months must be included in your documents.
- If you are not staying with a friend or family, a copy of confirmed hotel reservation is required. If staying in more than one hotel, please provide copies of each hotel reservations.
- You must have a reservation of flight itinerary under your name. The itinerary must show applicant's entry and exit flight plan.
- Mali is not a very safe place for travelers. But if you decide to travel to Mali, here are some safety measures;
- Guard your wallets and your passport, whether you are in a crowded, open or deserted place.
- Be careful of thieves and pickpockets.
- Use all the available safety measures. Lock the doors and windows at all time, and set an alarm system.
- If you are asked to stop by the police, make sure you stop at well-lit areas or areas where other police officers are.

- The business letter from the sending company in Kenya must have the following requirements:
- Brief introduction of the applicant (that includes the position held in the company by the applicant)
- Nature of business to be conducted
- Guarantee of sufficient funds for the travel.
Mali Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Two recent 2 x 2' passport photographs are required. These photos must be in color, taken in front view and against a white background.
- Travelers are required to have a copy of their onward destination visa ready. Applicants of this visa have the intention of boarding a connecting flight from Mali to their destination.
- Travelers are required to have proof of travel arrangements. Computer-generated flight itinerary from the airline or a travel agency should be brought as proof of travel arrangements.
