Nauru visa requirements for Kenyans

• The tourist visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of visiting Nauru for sightseeing, recreation and relaxation.
• An original passport of at least six-month validity. 
• Three recent passport-sized photograph with white background
• Kenyans who have been invited to the country by their friends and relatives can travel to the country using this visa.
• Applicants visiting their friends and relatives in the country are required to present a letter of invitation from their host. The letter should have the valid contact details of the host.
• Applicants that are not staying with friends or relatives must show proof of accommodation by providing copies hotel reservations.
• You can attend festivals and events during your time in the country.
• There are no legal restrictions on same-sex sexual relations or the organization of LGBT events in Nauru.
  
• A letter from the applicant’s employer stating awareness and allowance of applicant’s leave. The job position of the applicant should be stated in the letter, as well as, the contact details of the company.
• The Australian dollar is the legal currency in Nauru. You should be prepared to pay cash for hotel bills and all other services. Credit card services are not allowed.
  
• Applicants must show proof of onward and return tickets.
• Non-Kenyans should provide a copy of their stay permit in Kenya.
• If you are under the age of 18, the original copy of your birth certificate should be provided. If the minor is traveling with one or none of his/her parent, a notarized letter of consent signed by both parents of the applicant is required.
• A document which shows that the applicant has the incentive of returning to their country is required.
• Vaccination certificate for yellow fever is required.
• Proof of payment of visa application fee should be provided.
• Nauru is a relatively safe country to travel to.
• Foreigners visiting Nauru are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment in the country.
• You should be up to date on the following vaccinations:

                - Dengue

                - Typhoid

                - Tuberculosis

                - Diarrhea.

• Kenyans should ensure they obey the laws guiding this visa. If you violate local laws, even unknowingly, you may be expelled, arrested, or imprisoned.
• The police emergency hotline in Nauru is 110.

• The Business visa is issued to business-minded travelers who have the intention of visiting Nauru to engage in various business activities.
• An original signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank passport page available for visa stamp(s) is required.
• You're required to have recent passport-sized photographs.
• Foreigners can negotiate and sign business contracts with their business partners in the country.
• Citizens of Kenya can attend conferences, trade fairs and business summits while they are in Nauru.
• Applicants who have the intention of attending conferences should pre-register for the conference before visiting the country.
• A letter from your employer in Kenya stating your job position and the terms of the applicant’s employment contract is required. The duration and the purpose of the applicant’s visit should be stated in the letter.
• An official letter of invitation written on the company’s letterhead stating the duration and the purpose of the applicant’s visit should be provided. The letter should be signed by an authorized signatory in the company.
• Certificate of Business Registration of the company you are meeting with in Nauru must be provided.
• If the responsibility of the applicant’s finances will be taken up by the host company or the applicant’s employer, it should be stated in the business letter.
• A copy of inviting company’s tax record is required.
• Proof of the incentive of returning to your country at the expiry of your visa should be submitted.
• Holders of this visa are not permitted to receive payment for the services they render while they are in the country.
