Entry Requirements
- Panama government permits Kenyans to visit their country for a duration of 180 days without a visa.
- Tourists who desire to stay longer than the 180-day period are to apply and pay for an extension at the Offices of Immigration in Panama.
- Prospective visitors are required to carry a passport valid for a minimum of 3 months from the date of their arrival in Panama. The passport should have at least a blank page for visa stamping.
- Visitors are also required to provide either $500 in cash or its equivalent or a credit card, bank statement or any other proof that they have enough funds to cover their expenses while in Panama. A return ticket to Kenya or onward destination is needed as well.
- Kenyans travelling to Panama must provide proof of a confirmed means of accommodation for their entire stay in Panama. This could be in the form of a hotel reservation or a sponsor letter from a host already living in Panama.
- There is no restriction on the import and export of either local or foreign currencies, however, amounts above $10,000 will be declared on arrival in Panama.
- Intending visitors can get to Panama from any of the international airports in Kenya. There are international airports in Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa.
- Kenya Airways, KLM, Air France and Ethiopian Airways are some of the Airlines that constantly fly from Kenya to Panama.
