San Marino Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The tourist visa is issued to Kenyans who are visiting San Marino for vacations, sight-seeing, adventures or leisure purposes.
  • The tourist visa is valid for 90 days, and the visa is not extendable.
  • Two recent 30 mm x 40mm passport-sized photographs with a white background are required.
  • San Marino is a beautiful country that is landlocked by Italy.
  • There are no airports in San Marino, so the only way to get into the country is by getting into Rimini on the east coast of Italy, then taking a public transport (car) to San Marino.

  • Business travelers who have the intention of performing business activities in San Marino are the eligible candidates of this visa.
  • Travelers on this visa can freely negotiate business deals and sign contracts while in the country.
  • Foreigners can only set up business in the form of a limited company or corporations. 
  • When setting up a business, the minimum capital requirement for a limited company is 25,500 euros. The minimum capital requirement for a corporation is 77,000 euros.
  • Both the types of companies must be registered by public deed and signed before a San Marino notary.
  • Kenyans can attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits in the country.
  • Certificate of Business Registration and a copy of Income Tax Return should be by submitted by applicant’s who are self-employed.
  • If you will be traveling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate should be provided. Also, a notarized consent signed by both the minor’s parents is required.
