Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Tadzhik Visa.

Tajikistan Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Tourist Visa is issued to Kenyans who have the intention of visiting Tajikistan for leisure and tourism.
  • Foreigners who have been invited to Tajikistan by their friend or relative in the country can also apply for this visa.
  • Kenyans who have been invited to the country by their friend or relative required a letter of invitation from their host in the country. The letter should state the relationship between the applicant and the host and state the duration of the visit.
  • Visitors to Tajikistan are free to attend festivals and events that are of interest to them.
  • Employed applicants are required to present a letter from their employer. The letter should introduce the applicant, state the applicant's job position, the length of the time the applicant has been employed, and the duration of the visit.
  • Non-Kenyans are required to provide a copy of their Kenyan stay permit during the visa application.
  • Minors applying for this visa are expected to be in possession of the original copy of their birth certificate. If the minor is traveling with one or none of his/her parent, a notarized consent signed by both the parents should be provided.
  • You are required to return to your country at the expiry of this visa.
  • Proof of payment of visa application is required.
  • Kenyans in Tajikistan on this visa are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment.
  • Tourists are advised to be immunized against yellow fever, polio, hepatitis A and hepatitis B before traveling to the country.

Tajikistan Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa type is issued to Kenyans visiting Tajikistan to engage in various business activities with their partners in the country.
  • Foreigners and representatives of their partner company in Tajikistan can negotiate and sign business contracts during business meetings.
  • While in the country, applicants of this visa are allowed to attend business summits, conferences, and trade fairs.
  • Proof of pre-registration is required from foreigners who have the intention of attending conferences in the country.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Kenya confirming the allowance of the leave is required. The letter should state the duration and the purpose of the applicant’s trip to the country.
  • A letter of invitation from the host company in Tajikistan is required. The letter should state the nature of the business to be carried out and the duration of the applicant’s visit. A valid contact address of the company should be included in the letter.
  • The business letter must state whether the applicant’s employer or the host company in Tajikistan will take up the responsibility of the applicant’s finances.
  • If there have been previous business dealings between the host company and the sponsoring company, proof of this should be provided.
  • The receipt that shows that visa application fee has been paid in full is required.
  • A document which shows that you have the incentive of returning to your country is required.
  • Foreigners should provide a document which shows they are free from HIV.

Tajikistan Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to foreigners with the aim of transiting through Tajikistan to their destination country.
  • Visa and other entry permits of the destination country are required.
  • Flight ticket of the destination country should be provided.
  • Holders of the Transit Visa are not allowed to take up work or study during their time in Tajikistan.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate is required. If you are traveling without supervision, a notarized consent signed by both your parents should be provided.
  • Foreigners should be vaccinated against yellow fever, polio, hepatitis A and hepatitis B before traveling to Tajikistan.
  • The Transit Visa cannot be extended.
  • Kenyans should ensure they leave the country before the expiry of the visa.
