Basic Travel Requirements for Laotians visiting Denmark
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Danish Visa.
- A Laotian passport which will be valid for a duration of 6 months after exiting Denmark is required.
- Two passport-sized photographs taken with a white background. The photograph must be at least 3 months old from the time of application.
- Original bank statement for the last three months prior to the date of application for the visa to show proof of financial status.
- Valid travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000 in case of emergency or an accident while in the country.
- Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
- A return flight ticket must be provided.
- Copy of travel itinerary showing your entry and exit dates and duration of stay in the country.
- A cover letter that explains the purpose of your visit and duration of stay in Denmark.
- Marriage certificate or children's birth certificate to show proof of civil status.
- If you are retired, a copy of your pension statement of the latest six months is required.
- Employed applicants are required to show a bank statement of the last six months, certificate of income tax returns, employment contracts and No-objection certificate from your employer.
- Self-employed applicants are required to submit a copy of their business license, their company's bank statement of the latest six months and income tax returns.
