Basic Travel Requirements for Laotians visiting Egypt

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Egyptian Visa.

Egypt Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Egyptian tourist visa is a visa issued to Laotians who intend to visit Egypt for vacation, visitation, sightseeing or recreational purposes. 
  • A passport with at least three months validity remaining after departure from Egypt and two blank pages for visa stamps is required. 
  • A completely filled and signed tourist visa application form. 
  • Two identical and recently taken passport photographs, 2x2 inches in size. 
  • A properly signed and stamped bank statement collected from the bank not less than 14 days ago to show proof of financial status. 
  • A copy of your medical travel insurance certificate that will be valid for your duration of stay in Egypt. 
  • Copy of hotel reservation voucher.

  • A letter written by your employer stating that you are a staff of the company to show proof of employment in your home country. 
  • The letter should contain your current job position in the country and the number of days you will be away from work. 
  • Self-employed applicants are required to show their business certificate of incorporation and other business registration documents. 
  • Marriage certificate or birth certificate to show proof of social ties to your home country. 
  • An invitation letter from a friend or relative in Egypt.

Egypt Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Egyptian student visa is a visa issued to foreigners who intend to stay in Egypt for the purpose of study.
  • Laotians who want to study in Egypt can only get a student visa on arrival in Egypt. You can apply for a student visa then upgrade it to a tourist visa upon your arrival in Egypt.
  • A passport valid for six months and at least two blank pages for visa stamps. 
  • A signed and duly completed Egyptian student visa application form.

  • The Egyptian work visa is a visa issued to qualified and experienced foreigners who wish to study in Egypt. 
  • A valid passport with a valid Egyptian residential status is required. 
  • Foreigners who wish to work in Egypt must obtain a work permit. 
  • Seven recently taken passport photographs must be provided. 
  • Two copies of your employer's incorporation contract is required. 
  • Two copies of your Tax ID card obtained from the right authority.
