Basic Travel Requirements for Laotians visiting Ghana

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Ghanaian Visa.


  • A passport with at least six months validity.

  • The passport must have 2 blank pages for the visa stamp.

  • Duly signed and correctly filled visa application form is required.

  • The Ghana visa application form for minors must be completed, filled and signed by their parents or legal guardians.

  • 2 recent passport photographs taken against a white background is required.

  • Medical travel insurance for emergency cases must be valid for the whole duration of stay in Ghana.

  • Bank statements showing proof of sufficient funds for the whole duration of stay in Ghana is required.

  • A copy of confirmed hotel reservation/booking showing proof of accommodation in Ghana.

  • Copy of return flight ticket.
