Basic Travel Requirements for Laotians visiting Iraq

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Iraqi Visa.

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
  • Duly completed and signed visa application form.
  • If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form and a letter of authorization stating they give consent to such minor traveling. 
  • A recently taken passport-sized photograph (3.5×4.5 cm in size) taken against a white background.
  • Travel documents.

Iraq Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Iraq tourist visa is issued to foreigners visiting Iraq for Sightseeing, tourism, and visitation. 
  • Laotians visiting Iraq for tourism purposes can apply for the Iraqi tourist visa. 
  • A complete Iraqi tourist visa application form is required. 
  • A recently taken identical passport photos. 
  • A passport with six months validity beyond trip completion and two blank visa pages is required. 
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover your entire stay period in Ghana. 
  • Laotians visiting Iraq can apply for either the Iraqi single-entry visa or multiple-entry visa. 
  • The Iraqi single-entry visa is a visa that allows applicants to stay in Iraq for a duration of 90 days and it cost 40 USD.

Iraq Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Iraqi business visa is issued to foreigners visiting Iraq for business meetings or courses and to sign business deals. 
  • Laotians who intend to visit Iraq for business transactions can apply for this visa. 
  • A passport with six months validity beyond travel completion and one blank visa page is required. 
  • Two recently taken passport photos. 
  • An invitation letter from your Iraq host.
  • The letter must be written on the company's letterhead and it should contain the company's address, your purpose of visit to Iraq and entry and exit dates. 
  • All visitors to Iraq must have an HIV blood test done upon arrival in Iraq. 
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover stay Period in Iraq. 
  • A letter from your employer giving consent to your travel and stating your purpose of visit. 
  • Employees sponsored by their employer must show a recent bank statement of their employer for proof of financial status. 
  • Self-employed applicants may need to submit proof of business registration.
