Basic Travel Requirements for Laotians visiting South Korea
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a South Korean Visa.
- A complete South Korea visa application form.
- Recently taken passport photos not older than six months.
- A passport with six months validity remaining and at least two blank visa pages for visa stamps.
- Flight reservations and return ticket.
- A hotel reservation receipt to show proof of accommodation while in South Korea.
- A cover letter showing your details and the details of the people traveling with.
- Employed applicants are expected to show a letter from their employer stating that a leave of absence has been granted and that you will return to your current job after your trip.
- The letter should contain the purpose and duration of your trip.
- Self-employed applicants are to show a copy of their business license, company bank statement of the last six months and income tax revenue.
- As a retired applicant you are required to submit proof of your retirement funds.

- An invitation letter from a citizen of Korea inviting you over. The letter should contain the inviter address of residence, a copy of his passport and a confirmation of financial solvency.

- An invitation letter from the Korean company.
- An invitation letter to a business meeting or to participate in a related event.
- A bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds to cover the period of stay in South Korea.
- Proof of accommodation.

- A certificate showing the education, profession and qualification of the applicant.

- A complete Korean student visa application form filled in English or Korea is required.
