Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Swedish Visa.
- A duly completed and signed visa application form.
- Passport with a validity of at least 3 months from the intended period of exiting the country.
- Two blank passport pages for visa stickers.
- Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background.

Sweden Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Sweden tourist visa is a visa issued to foreigners visiting Sweden for tourism, leisure, and other recreational purposes.
- The Swedish tourist visa is a short-stay visa that allows a stay of up to 90 days during a period of 180 days from the application date.

- The Sweden business visa also called the Schengen business visa is a visa issued to Foreigners traveling to Sweden for business transactions or to sign business deals.
- Laotians visiting Sweden to attend business meetings, conferences, trade fairs, and exhibitions can apply for this visa.
- Original Passport with a validity period of six months and at least two blank visa pages is required.
- A duly filled and signed Sweden business visa application form.

Sweden Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Student Visa is issued to foreigners who have been offered admission to study in a learning institution in Sweden.
- Laotians visiting Sweden to further their education or for an internship can apply for the Swedish student visa.
- The original letter of admission from the institution that the applicant has been accepted should be presented during the visa application. This letter should state the duration of the applicant's course and that the applicants have paid in full the first installment of his/her tuition fee.
- The applicant must have a passport with a validity of 6 months at the time of application. The passport should be issued not earlier than 10 years before the time of application.
- Proof of financial capacity showing that you have the funds to pay for the course you are enrolled in as well as support your stay in the country. Applicants must attest to owning 8190 SEK for each month of stay in Sweden.
- Proof of health insurance to cover your entire duration of stay in Sweden.
- Applicants are expected to submit an essay not more than 1000 words stating the reason why you have chosen Sweden as the country for your studies. The letter must show the reasons why studying in Sweden is better than in your home country.
- Certificate, transcript or diplomas of your earlier educational background.
- Proof of accommodation in Sweden.
- Applicants under the age of 18 are required to submit the original and photocopies of their birth certificate.
- Two copies of your curriculum vitae.
- Proof of paid visa application fee.
