Basic Travel Requirements for Laotians visiting Sweden

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Swedish Visa.


  • A duly completed and signed visa application form. 
  • Passport with a validity of at least 3 months from the intended period of exiting the country.
  • Two blank passport pages for visa stickers.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background.
  • A travel insurance confirmation with a minimum of 30,000 euros coverage within Sweden and the entire Schengen area.
  • A cover letter stating the purpose of your travel to Sweden.
  • A flight itinerary with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit dates from Sweden.
