Basic Travel Requirements for Laotians visiting Turkey

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Turkish Visa.


  • A duly completed visa application form which carries the applicant’s signature.
  • A valid passport which has a validity of more than 6 months after your intended date of exit from the country and two blank passport pages for visa stamps.  
  • One recent passport photograph taken on a white background. The photograph should follow the specification for a visa application.
  • Bank statement for six months signed and stamped by the bank to show proof of sufficient funds to cover expenses that will be incurred while in Turkey.
  • A travel medical insurance valid for the duration of stay in the country to cover emergency cases or accidents.
  • Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation in Turkey.
  • Copy of return flight ticket.
  • Proof of civil status.
  • Copy of travel itinerary.
  • A police report from your home country showing that you do not have any criminal record.
