Argentina visa requirements for Liberians

The Argentine tourist visa is issued to Liberians visiting Argentina for tourism, sightseeing or recreational purposes.

The tourist visa is issued as a short-stay visa

Liberians visiting friends and family in Argentina are also eligible for this visa.

Applicants visiting friends and family are required to submit an invitation letter from their host in Argentina

The letter should contain the home address, telephone number and a valid means of identification of the host.

Applicants international passport with a minimum validity of six months from the proposed date of travel should be submitted.

Employed applicants are to submit a letter of awareness from their employer. The letter should contain the job specification and rank of the applicant.

Proof of financial sufficiency in form bank statement should be submitted.

Proof of incentive of returning to Liberia at the expiration of the applicant's visa should be submitted.

Applicants travel itinerary and round trip reservation should be submitted.

Applicants should submit proof of payment of visa application fee.

 Applicants are advised to refrain from making irrevocable travel plans until the visa has been issued.

The interview process is done physically so applicants should prepare ahead.

Applicants should provide proof of accommodation or hotel reservation for the period of time they intend to spend in Argentina.

Applicants are advised to refrain from making irrevocable expenses until their visa applications have been granted.

Liberians with the intention of participating in business activities are the recipients of the Argentine business visa.

The Argentine business visa is a short-stay visa

 Applicants of this visa may negotiate and sign business contracts with their partner companies in the country.

Holders of this visa are also allowed to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits.

A letter from the applicant employer in Liberia stating the purpose and duration of the visit should be submitted

The host/partner company in Argentina should provide a letter stating their awareness of the applicant's visit, purpose and duration.

If the host company would be financially responsible for the applicant’s visit, it should be expressly indicated in their letter.

The host company in Argentina must be registered with the National Registry of Petitioners on behalf of Foreign Applicants (RENURE) of the National Directorate of Migration. 

If the applicant is a private business owner or self-employed, proof of business registration should be submitted.

Proof of previous business dealings with your host company in Argentina should be provided(if any).

A copy of their Income Tax Return for the last 6 months should be submitted

Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted.

Proof of incentive of returning to home country should be submitted.

Proof of financial sufficiency that cover the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted.

Proof of paid visa application fee should be submitted by the applicant.

Proof of medical fitness and yellow fever vaccination should be submitted.

Applicants are advised not to make non-refundable payment pending the approval of their  application

Documents sent to the embassy should be translated to Spanish.

The  Argentine transit Visa is issued to Liberians making stopovers in Argentina.

Applicants can board a connecting flight from Argentina to their destination country.

Applicants should be in possession of a valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel

This visa also allows its holders to transit through a port in Argentina to a third destination.

Applicant are required to exit Argentina before the expiration of this visa.

The visa and other entry permits to the destination country are required.

The transit visa has a validity of 48 hours.

Flight ticket to your destination country should be submitted.

Holders of this visa are not allowed to work while they are in the country.

You cannot study with the transit visa
