General Requirements for Luxembourg Visa

Luxembourg Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Luxembourg tourist visa is a short-stay visa issued to applicants for the purpose of tourism, sightseeing, recreational activities, and visiting friends and families.
- You must show proof of having individual medical travel insurance that is valid in all the Schengen countries.
- This insurance must have a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000.
- If visiting friends or family in Luxembourg, you must provide an invitation letter from your host confirming they are aware of your intended visit.
- The applicant will also need to provide a cover letter. The cover letter should explain the nature and purpose of the trip along with relevant justification.
- Proof of applicant's accommodation in Luxembourg is needed.
- The applicant's certificate of salary for at least three months preceding the date of application will be sufficient proof of financial standing.
- The visa will not be granted if the applicant fails to demonstrate they have enough money to cater for their stay in Luxembourg.

- The Luxembourg business visa is issued to Liberians travelling to the country for business purposes.
- A bank statement for the last three months is required to show that the applicant is capable of financing their full travel expenses.
- You will need to provide an invitation letter from the Luxembourg company you will be visiting.
- The letter should contain detailed addresses, date, and purpose of your trip.
- If the intention is to attend a meeting or seminar, confirmation/invitation from the conference organizer/institution is required.
- If you are employed, you will have to present a certificate from your employer stating or allowing your business travel.
- Applicants who are self-employed will submit proof of business registration.
- Holders of this visa are not allowed to be employed while in the country.
- This visa is valid for not more than 90 days but can be extended.

Luxembourg Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- A student visa is issued to foreigners who want to pursue an educational course in Luxembourg for not more than 90 days.
- A student visa must be obtained before entry into the country.
