Basic Travel Requirements for Liberians visiting Mexico

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Mexican Visa.



  • Liberian passport is valid for at least six months on your travel date.
  • Photocopies of your passport.
  • A valid identification card (original and photocopies including the back and front sides) such as SSS/GSIS ID card, Driver’s License, Voter’s ID, Postal ID, Company ID or student ID
  • Proof that you have sufficient funds to take care of yourself while you are in the country.
  • Valid travel insurance which covers sufficient medical insurance for the duration of the stay.
  • Income Tax Return (for employees).
  • Original copy of employment certificate (for employees).
  • Business owner certificates (for business self-employed applicants), like DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) certificate and SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) certificate.
  • Marriage certificate (for married applicants).
  • Filled up and duly signed the application form.
  • Two pictures with white background (size is 1.5 x 1.5 inch)
  • Travel itinerary.
  • Copy of return flight ticket.
