The Netherlands visitor visa is also referred to as a Type C- Schengen visa. The visitor's visa is issued as a short-stay visa. Applicants with the intentions of sightseeing, recreation or vacation are eligible for this visa. Applicants travelling with the intention of carrying out business activities can do so on this visa. Note that this visa also allows entry into all other Schengen Member States. The tourist visa can be issued as a single, double or multiple entry visa. If the purpose of the visit is to see a friend or relative, a letter of invitation from the applicant's host in the Netherlands should be submitted. Applicants travelling for business purposes are to submit a letter from their employer stating the purpose and duration of the visit. Proof of previous business dealings should be submitted. Certificate of business registration by the host company in Netherlands should be submitted. Proof of financial capacity covering the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted. Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted. Proof of payment of visa application fee should be submitted. An incentive that shows that the applicant will be willing to return to his home country at the expiration of his visa should be submitted. Minors are to submit a copy of their original birth certificate alongside a letter of consent from one or both parents. the application form must be signed by the parents/legal guardians and a consent form should be attached. A consent form is also required from the non-travelling parent if the minor is travelling with only one of the parents. The minor's birth certificate should be attached to the documents. All documents must be written in Dutch, English, French or Spanish.
Netherlands Official Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Netherlands official visa is issued to diplomats traveling to the Netherlands for official purposes. Holders of this visa type usually visit the country with the intention of meeting government officials of the Netherlands. Applicants should submit a duly completed and signed application form is required. Applicants passport with a minimum validity of 3 months from the proposed date of travel should be submitted. One recent passport photograph that meets the general visa photo requirements is needed. An official note from the government parastatal or ministry the applicant would be representing should be submitted. If the purpose of visit by the diplomat is unofficial, the Application for the official visa will not be granted Diplomats travelling with minors are to submit a copy of their original birth certificate alongside a letter of consent from one or both parents. Visa application forms of minors should be submitted by the parents of the minor. Proof of accommodation for the entire duration of stay in the Netherlands is required. You are not allowed to take up work neither are you allowed to enroll in an institution of learning while you are on an official visa.
Netherlands Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Netherlands transit visa is issued to Liberians with the intention of transiting through Netherland. The transit visa issued to Liberians can also be called the Airport Transit visa (Type A). The Type A visa allows its holder to transit through the international transit areas of one or more airports of the Netherlands without entering. Applicants should be in possession of a valid Nigerien Passport. A copy of the applicant's visa to the destination country should be submitted. An onward aeroplane ticket valid for the destination is also required. Bearers of this visa will not be allowed to leave the airport nor the international zone of the airport. Airport transit visas are not valid for short-stays in any Schengen country. Proof of visa application fee should be submitted.
