Poland Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Poland tourist visa is issued to Liberians who intend to visit Poland for the purpose of recreational activities, sightseeing, tourism, etc.
  • If employed, you should submit the following documents during the visa application:
    • Employment contract
    • Current bank statement of the latest 6 months
    • No-objection certificate from the employer.
    • Income Tax Return (ITR) form or Certificate of Income Tax deducted at the source of salary.
  • Proof of accommodation while in Poland must be provided, for example, a confirmed hotel reservation.
  • Twelve-bed hostel dorms can be found for as little as 25 PLN per night, while 4 - 6-bed dorms will cost closer to 45 PLN. Private rooms generally cost 100 - 150 PLN, although this price varies by city.
  • If you’re looking for a romantic getaway destination, Poland offers many options.
  • Poland tends to get very cold in the winter and quite hot during the summer. Spring and autumn offer milder temperatures and quite a bit of rainfall, depending on your luck.
  • The coldest months are January and February; if you don't like the cold then you should avoid visiting Poland during those months.
  • Tourists are not allowed to discuss religion or politics with the locals.
  • Poland is the centre of vodka, but even with that, it is illegal to drink in the streets. You can be fined heavily or deported.

Poland Medical Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is for those intending to visit Poland for medical purposes.
  • You must provide a medical attestation from the hospital or doctor in Poland, confirming the date of your appointment as well as your medical situation.
  • A medical report issued by a hospital in Liberia describing your ailment and the reason it is best treated in Poland is required.
  • Certificate of employment from your employer in Liberia including information on leave of absence must be submitted.
  • You are not allowed to take up permanent residence in the country.
  • Travel insurance must be provided to ensure you have enough funding to cover any medical treatment in Poland. 
  • You are to exit the country after your treatment has been completed.

Poland Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

    • A Poland student visa is issued to foreigners who would like to study and stay in Poland for longer than 30 days.
    • Applicants of this visa are liable to take up jobs in the country.
    • Before applying for this visa you must have been issued admission into the school of your choice in Poland. 
    • An enrollment certificate allowing attendance of courses in Poland is also required.
    • A cover letter stating why you chose to study in Poland is needed.
    • Applicants must be willing to obey all the rules and regulations of the country.
    • You'll be required to show proof of financial sustenance for the duration of stay in Poland. This proof must show that applicants can afford at least €20 daily.
    • If you'll be getting financial support from a third party, you'll need to show proof of a declaration from your sponsor. This proof could be a scholarship offer letter.
    • If you are a minor, a consent form signed by both parents is required. The original copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required.
    • This visa is usually processed within a period of 10 days.
    • Students are required to carry enough funds that'd ensure they can comfortably spend 20 euros per day. 
    • When you receive your student visa you will be issued a temporary residence card. The first residence permit is issued for a period of 15 months. It can be renewed afterwards for periods of up to 3 years.
    • If you don't have enough means to fund yourself while in Poland,  you can support yourself financially through scholarships and other funding programs.

    Poland Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements

    • Foreigners intending to make short stops in Poland can do so with the transit visa.
    • Holders of this visa can stay at the airport while they await the flight to their destination.
    • You are not allowed to go on visits or tour the country while on a transit visa.
    • A copy of your valid visa for your final destination must be presented.
    • Only travellers with a clean criminal record will be issued this visa.
    • The visa is valid for 5 days.
    • You are required to exit the country before the expiry of your visa.
    • Valid medical insurance is required for this visa application.
    • You need to present a document showing you are in a good health condition.
    • The visa expires as soon as the holder leaves the country.
    • This visa takes about 10 days to process and it is valid for a maximum of 5 days.
    • Holders of this visa type are only permitted a single entry.
    • This visa cannot be extended.
