  • Liberia citizens visiting Sierra Leone can do so without making applications for a visa if they intend to stay for at least 30 days as determined by the embassy.
  • Passports of visitors must be valid for 6 months beyond arrival into Sierra Leone.
  • Liberia citizens are required to present a certificate of Yellow Fever vaccination upon entry.
  • Dogs and cats must be accompanied by an import permit from the Veterinary Department as well as an additional certificate of vaccination against Rabies and a health certificate in English.
  • Visitors are allowed up to $10,000 equivalent upon entry but there are no restrictions on currencies upon exit.
  • Computer-generated flight itinerary is required from the airline or a travel agency or copy of airline ticket showing entry and departure from Sierra Leone.
  • Evidence of sufficient funds to support stay in destination such as pay stubs, traveller's checks, and/or most recent bank statement must be provided.
  • Liberia citizens departing from Sierra Leone are required to pay a traveller service charge of USD 40.
