- A Spanish tourist visa is a short stay visa issued to visitors who intend to visit Spain for the purpose of sightseeing, recreational activities, tourism, and visiting friends and families.
- Applicants applying for a tourist visa can also get medical treatment in Spain.
- A letter of invitation from your host in Spain stating the purpose of your travel, contact details and full addresses of your host.
- You must provide proof that you can finance your trip for the entire duration of your stay in Spain which means you can spend at least €583.74 if the duration of your trip is 10 days or at least €64.86 per day for trips lasting longer than 10 days.
- A cover letter stating the purpose of your visit, places you plan to visit during your stay in Spain, and the time for each travel should be submitted as well.
- A copy of your roundtrip flight ticket or a confirmed travel itinerary must be presented. This document should show both entry and exit dates as well as flight itineraries.

- Processing your work permit can take up to eight months so you are advised to start your application well in time.
