Basic Travel Requirements for Libyans visiting Niger

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Nigerien Visa.


  • Signed Libya passport must be valid for 6 months after the required period of stay in Niger.
  • The passport should have at least one blank passport page available for the Niger visa stamp. 
  • Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Niger visas.
  • Three original Niger visa application forms should be completely filled and signed by the applicant.
  • Three recent, identical, 2 x 2 passport photographs, in color with a light background.
  • Flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency or copy of airline tickets.
  • International certificate of vaccination against yellow fever. Cholera vaccination is required only if traveling from a country where an outbreak of the disease has been reported.
  • Two copies of evidence of sufficient funds (at least $500 in the bank account) to support stay in destination such as traveler's cheques, and/or most recent bank statement.
  • A copy of the travel itinerary showing entry and exit date from Niger.
  • Applicants under the age of 18 are required to provide a birth certificate and signed consent notes from the parents or legal guardians.
  • A copy of hotel reservation or booking in Niger is required to showing proof of accommodation.
