France Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The French tourist visa is issued to Malagasy travelling for leisure, recreation and vacation purposes. Bearers of this visa can visit friends and relatives in France with this visa. Applicants passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel should be submitted. Duly completed and signed visa application form should be submitted. Two passport-sized photos, no older than three months. Letter of invitation from your host if the purpose of the visit is to see a friend or relative. Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay. Certificate of a criminal record of the home country showing that candidate has no open criminal case involvement. An incentive that shows that the applicant is willing to return to his home country at the expiration of his visa should be submitted. Proof of Accommodation in France, either in form of a hotel reservation, or a letter of invitation if you are planning to stay over at friend's or relative's. Applicants travelling with minors are to submit a copy of the minors birth certificate alongside a letter of consent from one or both parents. Receipt of paid visa application fee is required. You are not allowed to work or study during your stay in the country. The visa is valid for 180 days.
France Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The French business visa issued to foreigners travelling to France for business purposes. Bearers of this visa are allowed to attend business seminars, attend business meetings and sign business contracts. The French business visa is issued as a multiple entry visa. Employed applicants are to submit a letter from the employer they will be representing stating their awareness of the applicants trip and purpose. A letter from the partner company in France should be provided. Proof of payment of visa application form should be submitted. The business visa costs about €60 to process. You are expected to exit the country at the expiration of your visa. This visa type allows its holder multiple entry.

The French transit visa is issued to Malagasy making short stopover in France. Applicants of this visa intend transiting through France to their destination country. Applicants should be in possession of a valid international passport. Duly completed transit visa application form should be submitted. Visa and flight ticket of your destination country should be presented during the visa application process. Applicants below 18 years are to submit a copy of their original birth certificate alongside a letter of consent from one or both parents. You must have a clean criminal record. Proof of payment of the applicant's visa application fee should be submitted. You are required to exit the country before the expiration of your visa. There is no extension to the transit visa.
