Hungary Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
Malagasy visiting Hungary for vacation, sightseeing or leisure purposes, are the recipients of the Hungarian tourist visa.
Malagasy who have friends and relatives in Hungary may apply for this visa if they intend to visit these people.
Applicants with the intentions of visiting a relative or friend will require a letter of invitation from their host. The letter should contain their full contact address and a valid means of identification.
Applicant's passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel should be submitted.
Employed applicants will require a letter from their employer clearly stating their awareness of the applicant's leave and duration granted.
Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be provided.
An incentive that shows that the applicant is willing to return to his home country at the expiration of his visa should be submitted.
Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be provided.
A medical certificate that shows that the applicant is free from contagious diseases should be submitted.
Applicants below 18 years of age will be required to submit a copy of their original birth certificate alongside a letter of consent from one or both parents.
Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
During your time in the country, you are not allowed to seek employment.

Hungary Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Hungarian business visa is issued to Malagasy visiting Hungary for business purposes. Bearers of this visa are allowed to negotiate and sign business contracts, attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits while in Hungary. Applicants international passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel should be submitted. A letter from the applicant's employer which he will be representing in Hungary should be submitted. The letter should state their awareness of the applicant's visit, duration and purpose. The host company in Hungary will also be required to provide a letter of invitation which should clearly state their awareness of the applicant's visit and the nature of business to be conducted. If the host company will be financially responsible for the applicant’s visit, then it should be clearly stated in their letter. Proof of previous business dealings between both companies should be submitted The certificate of business registration of the company should be provided. Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted. Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted. Proof of incentive of returning to home country should be submitted. Receipt of paid visa application fee is required. Kenyans are expected to exit the country at the expiration of their visa.
