Basic Travel Requirements for Malians visiting Andorra

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Andorran Visa.


  • Ordinarily, you only need a valid passport to enter Andorra, you do not need a visa.
  • However, you can only access the country through either France or Spain, so you must get a multiple entry Schengen visa.
  • For stays longer than 90 days in Andorra, you must get a resident permit in Andorra.
  • Duly completed and signed Schengen visa form application.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs not older than 6 months, meeting the Schengen photo requirements.
  • Original Malian passport that is valid for at least 6 months on entry into Andorra.
  • You'll be required to submit flight bookings for your trip to Andorra as well as a return ticket to Mali.
  • Proof of valid travel insurance with the certificate of insurance and table of benefits. Your travel insurance must have a minimum cover of €30,000 and must be issued by an insurance company operating within the EU.
  • Proof that you can cater yourself while in Andorra.
  • Proof of accommodation which could be a hotel reservation or an invitation letter from your host in Andorra.
  • The invitation letter should contain the purpose and the duration of your trip. It should also be accompanied by a valid ID of your host.
  • A letter of no objection from the relevant authority in Mali. 
  • Retired applicants will need to submit proof of retirement funds.
  • A cover letter mentioning details of you, the travel and details of anyone traveling with you. 
  • This Schengen visa allows a short stay of 3 months and it's valid for 90 days.
  • This visa costs €60 for Malians 12 years and above, €35 for children between 6-11 and is free for children under 6.
  • The Schengen visa is usually processed in about 15 days. The earliest you can apply is 3 months before you intend to travel and you should apply no later than 15 working days in advance.
