Mexico Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The tourist visa is issued to people who wish to visit Mexico for tourism or leisure.
  • Those who wish to visit friends and family members residing in Mexico also need the tourist visa.
  • An invitation letter from the friend or relative you are paying a visit to the country should be provided.
  • The letter should have the valid home address and telephone number of your host.

  • This is the type of visa issued to Malians traveling to Mexico for business purposes.
  • Business travelers are permitted to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits while they are in Mexico.
  • A signed official letter from your employer confirming that you are undertaking this business trip on the company’s behalf is needed.
  • The purpose and dates of the trip will also be outlined in the letter.
  • If a number of trips are required/envisaged, this must be clearly stated in the letter.
  • If going for a business meeting, the Mexican company you’d be meeting may also provide a letter confirming the trip.
  • If you are responsible for the costs of the trip, evidence of how you intend to finance your trip and support yourself for the duration of your visit must be provided.
  • Certificate of business registration of the Mexican company you’d be visiting may be required.
  • Appointment letter that proves the applicant has been working with the company for at least 1 year.
  • A copy of the income tax returns for the last year.

Mexico Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Applicants intending to go to Mexico for the study will need a student visa.
  • Applicants of this visa should ensure they have been offered admission into the school they applied for before applying for the visa.
  • The original admission letter written on the school’s letterhead should be provided.
  • This proves that you have been offered admission into the school and you can attend classes.
  • Certificates and transcripts gotten from previously attended schools should also be submitted during the visa application process.
  • Proof that you have paid the tuition fee for the school should be provided.
  • International students are permitted to work part-time for 20 hours per week when school is in session and full-time when the school is on break.
  • If you are a minor, the original copy of your birth certificate should be made available.
  • Also, a notarized letter of consent signed by both your parents should be provided.
  • An extension of this visa can be granted to cover the duration of your study program in the country.
