Albania Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Albanian tourist visa is a short-stay visa that is issued to foreign nationals who intend to travel to the Republic of Albania and stay for not more than 90 days.
- Mauritanians travelling to Albania for tourism, vacation or other leisure activities are eligible to apply for this visa.
- You are required to submit a signed and completed visa application form. Incomplete application forms may delay the processing of your visa request.
- Your Mauritanian international passport must be valid for at least 3 months from the date you plan to leave the Republic of Albania and have no less than 1 blank passport page for your visa.
- You should also make a photocopy of your passport bio-data page (that is, the first page of your passport).
- As proof that you intend to return to your country of origin once your visa expires, you are required to submit a copy of your roundtrip ticket.
- You must as well submit a copy of your hotel booking with information about the accommodation (such as the name of the hotel, contact details) and how long you are booked to lodge there.
- As proof that you can cater to all your financial needs while in the Republic of Albania(that is, spend at least $47 per day), you must provide copies of your bank statements for the last three months.
- You are also required to provide proof of your employment status.
- If you are employed, you should provide a letter from your employer stating the date you were employed, your role in the company and acknowledging your leave from work.
- If you are self-employed, a copy of business license, the company’s most recent bank statement and your income tax return should be provided.
- Minors (under 18s) should submit a copy of their birth certificate and a letter of consent from their parents permitting them to travel to Albania.
- You should present a copy of your travel medical insurance covering the entire duration of your stay in Albania.
- If you are travelling as a group for tourism, you should submit a notarized photocopy of the license of Albania Tourism Agency inviting your group.
- All the documents required should be uploaded online. Then after acceptance of your application, you should submit to the embassy or consular office of the Republic of Albania in a neighbouring country as Albania does not have an embassy in Mauritania.
Albania Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Mauritanians who intend to travel to Albania to study should apply for the long-stay visa (type D).
- A letter of admission offer from an Albanian institution must be submitted. This means that you must have been offered admission to study in a school in Albania before you can apply for this visa.
- You are required to submit documents that prove and certify the coverage of all your living expenses and tuition fees.
- You must have travel health insurance for the duration of your study in Albania.
- Proof that you have confirmed accommodation for the entire duration of your stay in Albania must also be provided.
- You must show that you have enough knowledge of the Albanian language for carrying out your studies.
- A police report showing no criminal record must be submitted.
- You are also required to show evidence of payment of the visa fee.
