Basic Travel Requirements for Mauritanians visiting Fiji
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Fijian Visa.
- A correct and fully completed official Fiji visa application form
- Two (2) recent colored passport-size photographs with a plain white background.
- Original Mauritanian international passport that is valid with for 6 months.
- Consent letter from a spouse (if married and traveling alone).
- Consent letter from parents [for 18 years and under] and traveling alone.
- Leave letter (if employed).
- Proof of funds to sustain the duration of stay. E.g. recent bank statements for the last 3 months.
- Confirmation of pre-booked hotel accommodation.
- A copy of the travel itinerary/ticket.
- Sponsored letter. If a Fiji citizen or local company/organization is sponsoring to indicate the undertaking of the person for the duration of his period.
- Proof of approved visa and onward ticket.

Fiji Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Fiji student visa is issued to International Students who are traveling to visa for academic purposes.
- Mauritanian students must have been offered admission into any of Fiji's institution of learning before applying for the student visa.
- An admission letter written on the institution's letterhead will have to be submitted during the visa application.
- A properly filled official visa application form provided by the Immigration Department of Fiji.
- Provision of Medical Report conducted within three (3) months of less from date of application.
- Requirement for police report from applicant over the age of 18 years from the home country of the applicant.

- The Fiji visa fee is $180 USD for multiple-entries while it is $91.00 USD for single-entry.
- The Mauritanian international passport must have at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
- Two recent passport-sized photo(taken less than 6 months) with a white background is to be provided.

- The bank statements to be tendered must be from the last 28 days will be required from either the applicant or his/her sponsor.

- Mauritanians who are not issued the visa will be notified of the reason for the refusal.
- All Mauritanian citizens willing to apply for Fiji visa are to apply at Fiji embassy in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia or any other neighboring countries.

- The Single entry is charged at about $160.00 while the multiple entries are charged at $217.00.
- Both the single and multiple entries are processed within 3 weeks.
- Mauritanians traveling to Fiji are to apply for visa at the nearest Fiji embassy and must apply in person.
