Greece Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Greek business visa is issued to people who are travelling to Greece with the intention of engaging in business activities.
- Holders of this visa can negotiate and sign business contracts with their partners during business meetings in Greece.
- This visa being a short-stay visit is valid for a period of 90 days.
- An invitation letter from the host company in Greece is required. The letter should be written in either Greek or English.
- Your other documents must also be translated either to Greek or English.
- The invitation letter should introduce the applicant and state the duration and purpose of the applicant’s visit to the country.
- This visa allows foreigners to attend and participate in trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating to their profession.
- Foreigners visiting the country to attend a conference should provide an invitation letter from the company or authorized body to attend events connected with trade.
- Applicants of this visa must provide evidence of a clean criminal record from the last three years.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer stating the applicant’s job position, salary level and length of employment should be provided.
- You are to present a Certificate of Business Incorporation of a company in Greece when applying.
- You might be called up for an interview in the German embassy or consulate in your country or neighbouring countries to give further information to the existing information given on the visa application form.
Greece Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Mauritanians travelling to Greece can apply for the Greek tourist visa.
- This visa is valid for 90 days as a short-stay visit.
- Greece is part of the Schengen countries so you can also use your visa as a Schengen visa.
- Travel Insurance stating that you are covered in case of a medical emergency and repatriation in Greece and in the Schengen Area (minimum coverage of € 30.000) must be provided.
- Foreign nationals are obliged to attest possessing an amount of €50 per day and a minimum total amount of €300 for a stay of up to 5 days.
- Bank and credit card statements for the last 3 months must be provided by the applicant.
- Always be in possession of your form along with your passport while you are in Greece and present it upon departure. You should not hesitate to visit a police station and file a report should you lose your form before the Greek authorities will permit you to leave the country.
