Entry Requirements

  • Mauritius citizens can travel to Grenada without obtaining a visa and can stay there for up to 90 days. 
  • Mauritius citizens are required to possess a passport with a validity of at least another 3 months from the date of arrival.
  • Visitors are required to provide a certificate of vaccination for Hepatitis A, Polio, Tetanus, Typhoid and Yellow Fever.
  • Visitors must have return or onward tickets and all documents required for their next trip.
  • Visitors aged 18 years or more are allowed to hold 250 grammes of tobacco articles or 200 cigarette and 1 quarter of alcoholic drinks or wine.
  • Intending visitors can get to Grenada from any international airport in Mauritius
  • To bring in pets, visitors must have a health certificate and an import licence. The latter document must be obtained from the Government Veterinarian in St. George's, Grenada.
  • A visitor's luggage should be cleared at the first airport of entry in Grenada.
  • All visitors leaving Grenada are required to pay an Airport Service Charge upon departing from the airport.
  • About 65 per cent of Grenadians are Roman Catholic. Most of the rest belong to Protestant denominations which include Anglican, Methodist, Seventh-Day Adventist, and Baptist.
  • In Grenada the power plugs and sockets are of type G. The standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.
  • Grenada uses the Atlantic Standard Time zone (GMT-4), hence Mauritius is 8 hours ahead of Grenada.
  • The climate of Grenada is tropical, hot and humid all year round, with a relatively cool and dry season from January to mid-April and a hot, humid and rainy season from June to December.
