Basic Travel Requirements for Mauritians visiting Morocco

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Moroccan Visa.

  • An application form that is filled and signed.
  •  An original signed passport that is valid for six months after the stay.
  •  Passport should have at least one blank page so as to be stamped at the embassy.
  • Two recent passport photographs that meet the requirements of the visa application.
  • Travel itinerary or documents that shows entry and exit date from the country 
  • Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required.
  • Copy of hotel confirmation stating the name of applicant, name, and address of hotel and duration of stay.
  • A letter stating the purpose and duration of stay.
  • For minors, birth certificate and ID documents are required.

Morocco Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to those that tend to conduct business activities.
  • Passport should have at least one blank page for visa stamp.
  • An original valid passport that is valid for six months after stay is required.
  • Two copies of 2 x 2 recent passport photograph with a white background.
  • Approval Letter from the sponsoring company, stating the employment position of the applicant and the purpose of the visit to Morocco. It should also include the duration of stay.
  • The visitor must provide a letter verifying employment with the present company.
  • Copies of certificate of the company you are dealing with are required.
  • Business visa holders cannot seek employment in Morocco.
  • If you want to work in Morocco, you are advised to apply for a work permit. 
  • The processing time ranges from 2 to 15 business days.
  • This visa is only valid for  90 days.

Morocco Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A tourist visa is issued to people mainly for vacations and fun and also allows you to visit friends and relatives.
  • Visitors should provide an original passport that is signed and valid for six months after stay.
  • Passport should have at least one blank page for visa stamp.
  • A copy of the parent or legal guardian ID card is required for minors traveling alone.
  • With this type of visa, you cannot accept employment in the country except a work permit is provided.
  • An original birth certificate is required from minors during the application process.
  • Letter of invitation from your host in the country with the home address of the host or copy of your hotel reservation in Morocco is needed.
  • It is illegal to overstay upon the expiration of your visa.
  • This visa is valid for 90 days.
  • The Moroccan tourist visa costs $40.
