Entry Requirements

  • Mauritians  can get a visa on arrival when visiting Myanmar for a maximum period of 28 days.
  • Visitors are to possess an original passport valid for at least six months.
  • Proof of reserved accommodation or confirmed hotel booking is required.
  • Proof of onward or return ticket is also required.
  • Intending visitors are to possess at least 800 USD (per person) to cover living expenses while in Myanmar.
  • They are also required to possess a filled application form and 2 recent (3.5  by 4.5 cm) passport photographs.
  • The application fee is 1000 Baht (in Thailand currency). 
  • Visa on arrival can be gotten from Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Muang International Airport, Thailand and  22 other Thailand Immigration Checkpoints.
  • Visa fee is pegged at 40 USD.
  • Generally, application for extension of stay is not possible except in special cases such as illness.
  • Visitors on business purposes are to possess a resume, employment letter from the company, company's map and financial statement. The visa fee in this case is 80 USD.
  • Pets must be accompanied by a health certificate and declared for inspection on arrival.
