Basic Travel Requirements for Mauritians visiting Syria

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Syrian Visa.


  • Syria application form that is filled and signed.
  •  An original signed Mauritius passport that is valid for six months beyond stay.
  •  Passport should have at least one blank for Syria visa stamp.
  • Two recent 2 by 2 cm passport photograph with a plain background.
  • Passport photographs should be taken within the last three months.
  • Travel itinerary or documents that shows entry and exit date from the country.
  • Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required.
  • For minors, an original birth certificate and ID documents of parents are required.
  • Applicant’s passport with the Israel stamp will be denied a visa.
  • A criminal record signed by the local police department in Mauritius.
