Cameroon visa requirements for Moroccans

The tourist visa is issued to Moroccans visiting Cameroon for sightseeing, recreation and relaxation purposes.

Applicants are to provide a passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the proposed date of travel.

The visa application is expected to be handwritten.

Applicants travelling with the purpose of visiting a friend or relative should obtain a letter of invitation from their host.

The letter of invitation from your host should contain their home address, telephone number and valid means of identification.

For employed applicants, a letter written by their employer stating their awareness of applicants leave, job description and level. The letter should be written in the company’s letterhead.

Applicants are to provide proof of financial sufficiency that covers his duration of stay.

Applicants are to provide a copy of travel itinerary.

Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted.

Applicants are to provide proof of yellow fever vaccination.

A proof of incentive of returning to morocco at the expiration of your visa should be submitted.

If you are under the age of 18 years, the unabridged original copy of your birth certificate should be submitted. You are also required to have a letter of consent signed by both your parents if you are travelling alone.

Proof that payment for visa application has been made. 

Moroccans are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment during their time in Cameroon.

Applicants are expected to abide by all the rules guiding this visa.

The Cameroonian business visa is issued to Moroccan visiting Cameroon solely for business purposes.

Business travellers can negotiate and sign business contracts,  attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits.

A letter from the applicants' employer written on company’s letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant’s position in the company and clearly stating the purpose of visit to Cameroon should be submitted.

A letter from the host company in Cameroon stating their awareness, purpose and duration of your leave should also be submitted.

If the applicant is self-employed or a private business owner, a copy of their business registration certificate should be sent to the embassy.

Certificate of business registration of the company in Cameroon is required.

If there is proof of previous business dealings between both companies, it should be sent to the embassy.

Visas must be used within 90 days from the date of issue.

Visas are generally issued for multiple entries, and are valid for 30 days from the date of entry. 

If the company in Cameroon is going to be responsible for the applicant's financial expenditure in the country, it should be clearly stated in the letter of invitation.

For applicants who are self-employed, a copy of business registration should be provided.

All fees paid for the visa application are non-refundable irrespective of the outcome of the application.

Proof of previous business dealings with the company should be provided if any.

Receipt of payment of visa application fee should be provided.

Moroccans should have proof that they have the incentive of returning to their country at the expiry of their visa.

Applicants of this visa are advised to be vaccinated against yellow fever before applying.
