Basic Travel Requirements for Moroccans visiting China
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Chinese Visa.
A Moroccan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp. Duly completed and signed visa application form. If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form. Three passport-size photographs (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken in white background. Travel document must be completed. Proof of financial capability. Proof of accommodation/hotel reservations. Copy of return flight ticket. Documentation showing applicant’s ties to the home country. A police report showing the traveller does not have a criminal record. Documentation confirming the purpose of travel. Copy of travel itinerary.

The Chinese civil war resulted in a division of territory in 1949 when the communist party of China led by Mao Zedong established the people’s republic of China on mainland China. Also the Kuomintang led nationalist government retreated to the Island of Taiwan where it governed until 1996 when Taiwan changed to democracy.
China’s economy has been one of the world’s fastest-growing with its annual growth rates consistently above 6 per cent. According to the World bank China’s GDP grew from $150 billion in 1978 to $12.24 trillion in 2017. In 2018, its GDP increased to $13.5 trillion (90 trillion yuan). Since 2010, China has been the country with the world’s second-largest economy by nominal GDP and the largest economy in the world by purchasing power parity in 2014.
China is also the world’s largest exporter and second-largest importer of goods and also the home to some of the world’s largest tech giants such as Huawei, Baidu, Tencent and Alibaba as it is the world’s most technologically advanced nation. Since 2019, China has the highest number of rich people in the world.

General Requirements for China Visa

China Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
Moroccans travelling with the intention of sightseeing, recreation or vacation are the recipients of this visa.
The Chinese tourist is visa is also referred to as the Chinese L visa.
Foreigners who intend visiting relatives and friends in the country may do so with this visa. The Chinese tourist visa (L visa) is issued to those who intend to visit China for tourism or leisure.
The L visa can be issued a single, double, or multiple entry.
The Single Entry — allows one entry (30 - 60 days)
The Double Entry — allows two entries (30 - 60 days)
The Multiple Entry — allows multiple entries (6 months - 1 year).
The duration of stay per visit is at the discretion of the Chinese embassy.
If the applicant is visiting a friend or family, a letter of invitation from the host is required.
The letter should contain the home address, phone number and a valid means of identification.
Applicants who are employed are to submit a letter from their employer stating the awareness of their leave.
Holders of this visa are not allowed to be enrolled in an institution of learning in the country.
You may attend events and take part in festivals during your time in China.
If you are employed, a letter from your employer confirming awareness and allowance of your leave for the duration of your stay should be provided.
Applicants who are not citizens of Kenya need to present a copy of their valid re-entry pass or resident permit.
If it is your first visit to China, only the single or double entry visa will be issued to you.
Those who are applying for a multiple entry visa need to provide a copy of their previous visas to China.
Minor are required to submit a copy of the birth certificate during the visa application process. If these minors are traveling without their parents or with one of their parents, a letter of consent signed by both their parents is required.
Receipt of paid visa application fee should be provided.
Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted.
Proof of incentive of returning to Morocco at the expiration of your visa should be submitted.
During your time in the country, you are not allowed to take paid or unpaid employment.
China Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Chinese Business visa (M visa) is issued to Moroccans visiting China for business or trade purposes. Business travellers are free to attend conferences, business summits, and trade fairs while they are in the country. The validity Chinese M visa has a validity of 3 months (90 days). the M visa can be issued for single-entry, double-entry or multiple-entry. The Chinese business visa can be extended in special situations but the extension is solely at the discretion of the immigration officer. Applicants who are employed are to submit a letter from their employer stating the awareness and allowance of your business leave. The letter should have the date of terms of your employment, how long you have been employed and the duration of your leave. The host company in China is to provide a letter of invitation which clearly states the purpose and duration of your visit to the country. If the host company in China will be responsible for the applicants trip it should be clearly stated. The certificate of business registration of the Chinese company. Proof of previous business dealings between both countries should be submitted if any. Proof of incentive of returning to your home country at the expiration of your visa should be provided. Holders of the China Business Visa(s) are not allowed to be paid for the services they render while they are in the country.
China Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Chinese student’s visa is issued to Moroccans travelling with the purpose of studying in China. The Chinese visa is issued as two types namely; the X1 and X2 visa. The X1 visa is issued to Moroccan whose study program will not exceed 6 months The X2 visa is issued Moroccans who intend to study for 6 months and beyond. The student’s visa is issued as a single entry visa. Moroccans should ensure that they have been offered admission into an institution of learning in China before initiating the application process. Applicants are to submit their letter of admission to the embassy. The letter should clearly state the course of study and duration. Moroccans who have been issued the X1 visa must apply for a Temporary Residence Permit from the local Public Security Bureau within 30 days upon entry into China Moroccans with the X2 visa do not require to apply for a residence permit as the X2 visa already covers for that. Applicants are to provide the JW201 (or JW202) form issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education (only necessary for the X1 Visa) and the notice of admission from your school. The JW201 / JW202 form is to be submitted at consulate or embassy during your application for the Chinese student visa (X visa). It is at the discretion of the Chinese embassy to decide which type of form you would issued. If your study program is on full scholarship, them the JW201 form. The JW202 is for those studying in China by self-support or partial scholarship. Proof of medical fitness should be submitted. The proof should show that the applicant is free from all communicable diseases. If you are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate should be provided. A notarized letter of consent signed by both your parents should be provided if you are traveling alone. Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicants duration of stay should be submitted. Applicants travel itinerary Receipt of paid visa of China application fee should be provided.
China Official Visa Eligibility & Requirements
Moroccans travelling to China to foster bilateral relations between both countries are the recipient of this visa. The government of China should issue a letter of invitation to the applicant. If the letter of invitation is not from the Chinese government., then it cannot be tagged as an official visit. Official visa can not be issued on an ordinary passport,the applicant must have a diplomatic passport for an official visa to be issued. If the purpose of the visit is not official, then the official visa will not be issued even if the applicant is in possession of a diplomatic passport. A diplomatic note from the Moroccan government should be provided. The note should clearly state information about the purpose of your visit, the duration of your visit and your status in the government. If you are travelling with a minor, you are required to possess the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate alongside a consent letter from the minors parent or guardian. Only the single-entry official visa will be issued to applicants.
