Visa type details
Tourist visa
The German tourist visa is issued to Moroccans visiting Germany for sightseeing, vacation or holiday visits.
This visa also allows foreigners to visit friends and relatives in the country.
Applicants travelling with the intention of visiting a friend or relative would require a letter of invitation from their host.
The letter should contain the full contact details of the host and a valid means of identification.
Applicants are to submit their passport which has a validity of at least six months from the proposed date of travel.
Employed applicants are to submit a letter from their employer stating there awareness and duration of their leave should be submitted.
A travel health insurance that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted or the equivalent of 30,000 euros.
Applicants are to submit a copy of their travel itinerary.
Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted.
Proof that you have the incentive of returning to your country at the expiration of your visa should be submitted.
With the tourist visa, you are not allowed to study or work while you are in the country.
All travellers are expected to have proof that they have the incentive to return to their home country.
For employed Moroccans, a letter confirming your leave is required.

You cannot take up a course to study in any of the institutions of learning in the country.

Business visa
Moroccans travelling for business purposes are the recipients of the German business visa.
Bearers of this visa can attend conferences, meetings, business summits, and trade fairs whilst they are in the country.
Applicants should be in possession of a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel.
A letter of invitation from your business partner in Germany should be provided. The address of the company, duration, and purpose of the meeting should be stated in details in the letter.
Applicants should submit a letter from their employer stating the awareness of their leave, purpose and duration.
If the financial burden of the applicants trip would be taken care of by their employer, it should be clearly stated
The certificate of business registration of the company you are meeting up with should be provided.

Medical visa
Moroccans seeking medical attention in Germany are the applicants of the German medical visa.
A letter from the applicant's doctor in Morocco should be sent to the embassy.
The letter should state in details the reasons why treatment of the applicant would be best gotten in Germany.
A letter from the medical facility addressed to the embassy should be submitted.
The letter should state their awareness of the applicant's visit, the ailment to be treated and the duration of treatment.
The applicant should be in possession of a valid international passport.
Applicants who are employed should submit a letter from their employer stating the awareness and duration of the applicants leave.
Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay.
Proof of part or full payment of medical fees should be submitted.
Applicants are to show proof of incentive of returning to Morocco at the expiration of their visa.
This visa does not allow its applicants to take up permanent residence in the country.
Whilst in the country with this visa, you are not allowed to take up part-time or full-time courses in any of the schools.
You are not permitted to be employed during your time in the country.
Children below the age of 18 are to submit their original birth certificate alongside a consent letter from one or both parents.
Applicants whose medical bills will be taken care of by an organization should ensure they have proof of this. This may be in the form of a letter written by the organization.
At the end of your treatment in the country, you are expected to leave the country.
