Denmark Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Myanmars traveling to Denmark for tourism and visitation purposes can apply for the Danish tourist visa.
  • The currency restriction for entry into and exit out of Denmark is 10,000 Euros
  • Denmark is part of the Schengen countries so you can apply for a Schengen visa.

Denmark Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Danish business visa is issued to Myanmars who intend to travel to Danish for business purposes.
  • The Schengen visa applies to the entire Schengen zone member countries. For this reason, once you get a short-stay business visa, you can travel throughout the entire Schengen zone.
  • The business visa is valid for 90 days.
  • It is necessary for business travelers to have an original passport with at least six months of validity. This passport must also have two blank pages.
  • If there exist previous trade relations between your company and the Danish company, you are required to provide proof of this. 
  • It is important to provide business references such as a letter from your employer and an invitation from the Danish company. The letter must include the following:
    • The full address and contacts of the company.
    • Name and position of the countersigning officer.
    • Purpose and duration of the visit.
  • The person that will bear the travel and living costs and whether the sponsor gives financial guarantee for the visa applicants' return to Myanmar.
  • Note that you cannot use the Danish business visa to seek public funds in Sweden.

Denmark Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Myanmars looking to study in one of the educational institutions in Denmark should apply for a Danish student visa.
  • It is necessary for you to confirm your admission status by showing an admission letter as proof that you have been offered admission to study in Denmark. The letter is issued by the authorities of the institutions you intend to study in.
  • Students are required to have 1000 Euros per month to cover their finances.
  • A proof of language proficiency (in English or Danish, depending on which language you are undertaking your studies in) is required.
  • If you are able to get a job, you can apply for a new permit. This would enable you to work up to 20 hours a week.
  • It is also necessary for you to have proof of accommodation in Denmark or an arrangement should be made to get you an accommodation there.
  • You will also need to show that all expenses and fees like tuition fees and other payments have been covered and pay for.
  •  As a Myanmar with the intention of studying in Denmark, you will need to provide proof of your health status. This could be in the form of a medical report or certificate.
  • A cover letter must be provided by the applicant. This letter must explain your plans when you visit Denmark, include reasons for wanting to study in Denmark.
  • You will also need to obtain a certificate from the police station to prove that you have not committed any offense nor have any criminal record.
