Application requirements

Tourist visa

  • Foreigners applying for this visa have the intention of visiting Jamaica for the purpose of leisure and tourism.
  • This visa also allows foreign nationals to honour the invitation of their friends or relatives who hold permanent residency in the country.
  • A letter of invitation from your host in the country is required. The letter must state the relationship between the applicant and the host and must contain the valid contact information of the host.
  • During your time in the country, you are allowed to attend festivals and events taking place in the country.
  • A letter from your employer in Namibia should be provided. The letter must state the applicant’s job position, salary level, and length of employment.
  • Minors applying for this visa are expected to be in possession of the original copy of their birth certificate. If the minor is traveling with one or none of the parents, a notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor is required.
  • Holders of this visa are prohibited from receiving payments for the services they render during their time in the country.
