Tourist visa

  • The Paraguay Tourist visa is a visa for travellers to Paraguay for reasons other than immigration.
  • It is also known as a Short stay visa which is why the visa is only issued for a short period of time.
  • Namibians who want to visit Paraguay to visit family/relatives or for tourism and leisure purposes are eligible for this type of visa.
  • Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank passport page available for visa stamps. In addition, send two photo-copies of the passport personal information page.
  • Two signed Paraguay visa application forms. After placing your order, fill out the application forms included in your Visa Application Kit.
  • Two copies of a document, such as Drivers License, State ID, Utility Bill, showing the applicant's current address.
  • Proof of Travel Arrangements.
  • Computer-generated flight itinerary from the airline or a travel agency or copy of airline ticket showing entry and departure from Paraguay.
  • If a child under 18 years is coming to Paraguay without one or both parents or legal guardians, a consent form signed by the non-accompanying parent or legal guardian is required.

  • The business visa is issued to foreign nationals who intend to travel to Paraguay for business purposes. This is a short-stay visa and it permits a stay of no longer than 90 days.
  • The business visa permits you to attended business meetings, trade fairs and to take part in conferences in Paraguay.
  • Two signed Paraguay visa application forms. After placing your order, fill out the application forms included in your Visa Application Kit.
  • Two copies of a document, such as Drivers License, State ID, Utility Bill, showing the applicant's current address. The passport used for your visa application must contain at least two blank pages (for entry/exit stamps) and have a validity of not less than three months beyond the date you intend to leave Paraguay.
  • You are also required to obtain a letter of invitation from the partner company/organization in Paraguay. This letter must state the purpose of your visit and who will take care of your expenses (your company or the partner company) while in Paraguay.
  • If there exist previous trade relations between your company and the partner company in Paraguay, you are required to provide proof of this. This could be bills of lading, customs clearance, receipts of payment or any similar documents.
  • You are required to submit a letter of introduction from your company explaining its commercial activities, your position in the company, the purpose of your travel and who is financing it.
  • Please note that as a business traveller, you are not allowed to seek public funds while in the country nor can you receive payment for any services rendered while you are there.
