The Netherlands is popular for its landscape of canals, tulip fields, windmills, and cycling routes. Many tourists engage themselves with exploring the amazing waterways in the country. These waterways are easily accessible by boat and water taxi. The museums in the city are the other places where tourists can have an exciting time. Not to leave out the very beautiful tulip gardens. Cannabis is illegal in the Netherlands, although there is a cannabis social club called the “Tree of Life” but it is for locals only. Riding bikes without helmets is allowed in the country but traffic rules must be obeyed.
 
The Netherlands literally means lower countries which refers to the low and flat topography the country has. The country is the second largest exporter of food and agricultural products. The country has very rich soil and mild climate which supports agriculture.  It is the first country to legalize same-sex marriage.
