- This visa is for visa applicants who wish to enter into Luxembourg for business reasons.
- The Luxembourg business visa is issued based on single-entry for those who wish to enter the country only once and multiple/double-entry for persons who wish to enter Luxembourg more than once.
- Applicants are to provide an invitation letter from the inviting company in Luxembourg.

- This visa is for foreign students who wish to travel to Luxembourg for the purpose of studying in any of the educational institutions in the country.
- This visa is a long term visa which means that its holder is allowed to stay in Luxembourg for a long time.
- This visa will not be issued to students who have not been given admission to an institution in Luxembourg.
- Applicants of this visa must have applied to the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Luxembourg for ‘temporary authorization to stay’.
- This temporary authorization to stay is valid for a period of 90 days only after which the applicant can then apply for a student visa.
- Proof of enrollment as a full-time student in one of Luxembourg’s institutions for higher education must be submitted for this application.
- Proof of payment of complete tuition fees for the course of study is to be provided.
