Application requirements
Documents Pakistani applicants need to provide.
- Applicants are required to be correctly filled and sign the Italy visa application form.
- The application form of minors should be signed by both parents/legal guardians of the minor.
- Recent passport photographs (35 by 45 mm) should be taken against a white background.
- Original Pakistan passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the intended stay in Italy.
- The passport must have at least 2 blank pages for the Italy visa stamp.
- A copy of the applicant’s travel itinerary showing travel details and dates of arrival and departure from Italy.
- Travel/medical insurance that is valid for the whole duration of stay in Italy is required.
- Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations in Italy is required.
- Proof of sufficient financial means for the whole period of stay in Italy.
- All the documents should be provided in the original and copy.
- Original documents will be returned to applicants while copies will be kept with the visa application.
- No photocopy will be accepted, except for the photocopy of the identity card or passport of the inviting party residing in Italy.
- In case of submission of forged/counterfeit/fake document or passport, the applicant’s passport and all the submitted documents will be forwarded to the Pakistan Police for investigations and the applicant will be prosecuted in the Italian Court.
Visa type details
Tourist visa
- The application form must be signed and dated by the applicant on submitting the application.
- Two recent color passport-size photographs taken against a white background, size 35 x 45 mm.
- Passport valid for 6 months from the date of visa application containing at least 2 consecutive pages.
- Colour photocopy of the passport page containing the holder’s bio-data.
- A sheet containing the applicant’s bio-data, phone number, and active e-mail address. This information must be typed and signed by the applicant
- Non-Pakistani nationals living in Pakistan have to submit a copy of the Pakistan Residence Permit.
- Travel medical insurance covering the entire period of intended stay for medical reasons, urgent medical attention, emergency hospital treatment or death during the stay.
- The travel insurance must have a minimum coverage must be 30.000 EUR.
- Travel itinerary showing details of the trip to Italy such as entry and exit date from Italy is required.
- Proof of accommodation for the whole duration of the intended stay such as hotel reservations or rental of a holiday home in Italy.
- An invitation letter from the host in Italy stating the relationship with the applicant is required.
- Proof of financial means in Italy by submitting a personal bank statement of the last six months.
- The visa application form of minors has to be signed by both parents.
- Signed consent note and a copy of the birth certificate are to be submitted by minors
Business visa
- A completely filled application form must be signed
- Two recent 35 x 45 mm color passport-size photographs taken against a white background
- Original Pakistan passport valid for 6 months beyond the intended stay in Italy.
- The passport must have at least 3 empty pages for Italy visa stamp.
- If the applicant is not a citizen of Pakistan, a copy of the applicant’s residence permits should be submitted.
- Applicants are required to submit a copy of a previous passport and visa.
- Travel medical insurance for the entire period of stay in Italy.
- An original letter of invitation from an Italian company is required.
- This letter of invitation has to be written on the Italian Company’s letterhead and it has to contain relevant personal data of the invited, purpose of the visit and duration of stay.
- This letter of invitation has to be accompanied by the photocopy of the signatory’s Identity Card (or passport) and copy of the Italian company’s registration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce.
- These documents have to submit by applicants and not transmitted by the Italian companies to the Consulate General of Italy.
- Proof of previous business conducted with Italian Companies (Invoices, Bills of Lading, or sales/distribution agreements ), if applicable.
- Income Tax Clearance Certificate.
- Company’s bank statement covering the last six months.
- Letter from the Pakistan company stating the purpose of the visit, applicant’s employment status in the company details regarding activities and business relations with the Italian company.
- Proof of accommodation/hotel reservation.
- Proof of financial means in Italy of residence such as a bank statement of the last six months.
