Basic Travel Requirements for Filipinos visiting Ghana
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Ghanaian Visa.
- An original and signed Philippine passport valid for 6 months beyond the stay in Ghana.
- At least one blank passport page available for Ghana visa stamp.
- A visa central order form
- Two colored recent passport photographs (35mm X 45 mm) with a plain/white background.
- If the applicant is a minor under the age of 18, both parents must sign the visa application form.
- If invited by a host(s), a letter of invitation from the host in Ghana including the full residential address and telephone number as well as a copy of the host's Ghanaian ID, Passport or Ghana Visa if staying with a friend or relative.
- Proof of travel itinerary
- Proof of hotel confirmation or accommodation.
- There are two visa application options in this kit; rush service and regular service. You must provide one fully completed copy of the application that matches your processing service speed request.
- All the Philippines entering Ghana are required to have a valid certificate of immunization against yellow fever. The vaccination should be made at least 10 days prior to entry and should be renewed every 10 years.
- Ghana visas are usually processed in 5 to 10 business days.
- Proof of sufficient funds for the day to day expenses.

Ghana Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Ghana Tourist Visa is issued out to people who are travelling to Ghana for sight-seeing, vacation or tourism.
- A tourist visa is valid for 3 months.
- Provide your actual signed passport valid for the next six months.
- Two colored passport size (35mm x 45mm) photographs with a white background.
- If you are invited by a host(s), an official letter of invitation from the company or organization that you will be visiting is required.
- Proof of travel arrangements for the duration of your trip.
- A fully completed tourist visa application form.
- Travelers under the age of 18 must also provide:
- A copy of the traveler's birth certificate
- Copies of the parents' state-issued IDs or passports
- A signed and notarized letter of consent by the parents/guardians authorizing the minor to travel.
- Parents must sign the visa application of the minor
- Proof of medical certificate
- Proof of sufficient funds for the day to day expenses in Ghana.
Ghana Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Buisness visa is issued to the Philippines traveling to Japan for business-related activities.
- If you are invited by a host(s), an official letter of invitation from the company or organization that you will be visiting is required.
- A fully completed business visa application form.
- Provide a visa central order form
- Two colored passport size (35mm x 45mm) photographs with a white background.
- Proof of medical certificate
- Provide your actual signed passport valid for the next six months.
- Proof of sufficient funds for the day to day expenses in Ghana.
- A business visa is valid for 3 months.
- There are two visa application options in this kit; rush service and regular service. You must provide one fully completed copy of the application that matches your processing service speed request.
Ghana Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to the Philippines traveling to Ghana to study.
- A study visa application form completed in duplicate.
- Passport must be valid for at least (6) six months to expiration.
- Two (2) recent passport-sized (35mm x 45mm) photographs of the applicant taken not more than six months prior to application and showing the full face of applicant, without a hat, cap, and sunglasses.
- Photocopy of your round trip ticket OR Travel Itinerary.
- Copy of permanent residence card.
- Proof of sufficient financial support during your stay in Ghana.
- Minors and children under the age of 18 traveling to Ghana need written parental authorization including copies of parents’ passports and Residence Permit.
- Yellow Fever Vaccination: In accordance with international health regulations, all persons entering Ghana are required to have a valid certificate of immunization against Yellow Fever.
- In addition to the original passport, all applicants are required to attach a photocopy of the bio-data page of their passports to completed forms.
- Proof of admission letter from an accredited institution in Ghana including dates of enrolment.
- Proof of an offer of an approved course from an accredited institution.
- Medical insurance should be provided
- Proof of exemption or payment of the required course fees.
- Proof of a guarantee of accommodation.
Ghana Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to the Philippines traveling to work in an organization in Ghana.
- Attach two recent passport photographs (35mm x 45mm).
- Copy of Non-Citizen ID Card.
- Original Passport of the employee.
- Proof of health insurance. In accordance with international health regulations, all persons entering Ghana are required to have a valid certificate of immunization against Yellow Fever.
- Approved work permit/Automatic Quota.
- Current Company Tax Clearance Certificate (for existing companies)
- Copy of birth and marriage certificates if dependents are included in the application.
- Copy of letter of acceptance in the organization.
- Applicants of this visa are to present proof of a clean criminal record.
- A curriculum vitae should be provided
- The job description of the position the applicant is being hired for.
- Proof of sufficient funds during your stay in Ghana.
- Copy of the previous year’s tax documents
- Company registration documents signed by both the employer and the employee.
