Basic Travel Requirements for Filipinos visiting Nigeria
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Nigerian Visa.
- Nigeria Immigration Service Visa Payment Receipt and Visa Acknowledgement Receipt
- A Nigerian passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
- A completely signed visa application form.
- If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign a guardianship form.
- Two recent passport size photographs are required (35mm x 45mm).
- Proof of financial support for the day to day expenses during the stay
- Proof of accommodation
- Copy of return flight ticket.
- A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.
- Medical Insurance is required.
- Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
- A copy of the travel itinerary.

- The tourist visa is issued to Philippines applicants who want to visit Nigeria for tourism.
- A valid passport for at least 6 months.
- Completed visa application form.

- Nigeria immigration service visa payment receipt and visa acknowledgement receipt is required.
- The Nigerian tourist visa is normally processed under 3-5 business days.
- Tourist visa applicants are strongly advised to finalize their flight booking only after the visa is granted.
- Please note that no refund of the visa application fee will be made if the application is denied or the visa is approved after the applicant’s scheduled departure date.
- Tourist visa applicants are not allowed to work or study on this visa.
- Prepare to leave the country within the time allowed by the visa; overstaying is an offence.
